Dear time,
You might think that it is weird to write about something so obvious as time. However, it is for that exact reason that it is so precious. Time does also contain the term timing which is also very fascinating if I say so myself. You are the one who has to give the time you have more life, not the other way around.
It is true, you can’t always wait for the perfect timing to come, because that moment will never actually come. But I know for sure that life knows when it has to bring you something or someone at the perfect time. And what is meant to be for you will always find a way to get to you and don’t worry, it will arrive at the right time.
You can’t heal in the same place that got you sick, it is something many people say, but it is easier said than done. Remember, it doesn’t have to be, but it can be, a physical place that changes. It can also be a different mindset. Maybe that is what they mean, when they say that you have to trust the timing of your life. And timing really is everything. I truly believe that you have to work for what you aspire in life, for love, for dreams and for so much more. However, I also believe that life knows when you are ready for something or someone to find its way to you and your journey. But what you do with it, still lays solemnly in your hands.
Your timeline, your story, might have a chapter or a phase that you don’t read out loud. So many possible reasons, maybe it hurts to much, maybe your scared of what people might think of you, maybe you feel ashamed, maybe you are afraid of being judged, there are so many possibilities here. But time is precious and you should not let that stop you. Love as hard as you can and like you have never been hurt, because you’ll regret it if you don’t.
Many of my examples seem to talk about love and I feel like that has the same reason as why so many song lyrics are about love and the feelings the human heart has to endure. Love in all its forms is such a powerful emotion and feeling that it is impeccable to write about. You need to remind yourself about the fact that writing about love in whichever context is based on highs and lows, but that is what makes it so interesting. Especially because there are many ways in which you can reflect on what you’ve written at that time from a different perspective or maybe with a clearer mind. Loving is something you do without expecting to get it back, it is something that puts you in a very vulnerable place, but over time you’ll get back what you give. Most of the time it is in the moments that you don’t expect it and in which you are not searching that you find your biggest blessings.
If you stop rushing through life, you’ll realise how much more life you really have the time for. The excuse that you don’t have time or that you are unable to find time for something is worthless. Yes, there are times in which it is harder, there are many times in which compromises are the only way to go, but as long as every party involved puts in the effort there is always a possibility.
“Time is free, but it is priceless. You can’t own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it. Once you’ve lost it you can never get it back.”

All my love,
Anna
Dear Anna,
I appreciate what you have been writing about “time” and the influences of time in your life.
In The Velinx, a theatre in Tongeren (Belgium) I saw the following text written on the wall:
“Time cannot be influenced by mankind.
It gives each of us a beginning, and an
end, and this makes us question the sig-
nificance of what comnes between.
But if you can createsomething time cannot
erode, something which ignores the eccen-
tricities of particular eras of moments,
something truly timeless, this is the ultimate
victory.”
Anna, I also love the quote of Harvey Mackay. And it is a good thinmg to keep these words in mind!
Thank you for this topic of your loveletter!
Best wishes,
Ed Silanoe.
